Christmas is my absolute favourite time of year and I used to think being a kid at Christmas was the best thing ever but as it turns out HAVING kids on Christmas is!! The sparkle in a child's eyes is all it takes to make Christmas the most magical time of the year.
Every year without fail our Christmas tree goes up on December 1st (my husband loves rules), but somehow my kids and I always manage to sneak out a few keepsake decorations before the tree FINALLY goes up. 🎄

My kids have their favourite snow globes, Christmas eve countdown and more recently our ever growing collection of seasonal Jellycats are always the first to come out.
The combo of seasonal snuggly friends and a matching book create moments for yearly memory making. Nothing better than a core memory of Christmas cosied up to a loved one reading and building the anticipation of Xmas magic ❤️
Here at Cherrie we have seen a huge rise in giving books as gifts for baby showers or first birthday with a beautifully written message inside the cover and I love this idea for Christmas too.
