We Might Be Tiny
Hello everyone, it's Courtney on the Cherrie Baby edit today. Lets talk fun in the kitchen. As a mum of three rambunctious (read: crazy) boys with gargantuan appetites, I find myself in the kitchen A LOT.
I’ll just be finishing up with the breakfast tidy-up when the morning tea onslaught begins! For this reason, it’s so important to me that meal and snack prep is as simple and straight forward as possible.
This incredible brand is Melbourne-based with a focus on beautiful, minimalist tableware for children. Their products are designed by a mama of two, who is passionate about making meal times less messy for busy parents.
We Might Be Tiny makes this
possible with their functional and stylish range of table wear for kids. Their gorgeous stickie plates and bowls come in an array of beautiful colours and they’re made from the highest quality silicone, so the kids can drop them on the tiled floor (which happens at least once at every meal) and there is no need to worry about them cracking or smashing.
They’re super durable!
I love the divided stickie suction
plates for snack time because each of the boys have different favourite veggie sticks, so I can easily portion out the cherry tomatoes and avocado bites for eldest; the mini cucumbers and olives for middle; and the carrot and celery sticks for youngest with ease. I add a big dollop of hummus and a few rice crackers to the other compartments and they’re satisfied…
For the next 5 minutes anyway!
The Toddler Feedie Cutlery Sets are the CUTEST, and my youngest (Mr 4) in particular loves having his very own knife, fork and spoon to cut up his food with. The dull edges on the stainless steel knife allows him to practise without fear of cutting himself and, to be honest, no one wants to see a real knife in this kids' hands just yet!
To top it all off, all We Might Be Tiny products love temperatures of up to 230°C, so I can just pop them into the dishwasher when the kids are done and I don’t need to fuss about with handwashing (my nemesis)!
Introducing three popular friends – the cute cat, the grumpy bear and the bouncing bunny. They have teamed up to introduce endless food adventures into your family home!
I don’t know about your kids, but mine become quite… ‘spirited’ after a
dose of sugar. So, on those warm balmy days that we’re often met with in sunny Queensland, I love using these sweet We Might Be Tiny Icy Pole Moulds to create healthy frozen snacks to cool the boys down. Each Icy Pole Mould comes with six reusable food-grade ice pop sticks so you can keep experimenting with new flavours.
What’s more, the moulds are both freezer safe and oven proof, so you can also use them to make nutritious baked creations. The possibilities are endless!
Create frozen yoghurts, turn smoothies into icy afternoon snacks and explore how freezing fruit purees can easily please your fussy toddler. Or surprise your little one with healthy muffin pops in either a cat, bunny or bear shape for cute lunchbox treats.
Popsicles are great, but sometimes warm summer days and small hands ask for a mess-managing alternative that keeps the melting moments in check.
Made from non-toxic, food-grade silicone, these silicone push up ice block moulds let your imagination run free and will turn nutritious goodness into frozen gems in no time.
Whether I’m freezing home-made baby puree, nourishing the older kids (or myself!) with mini muffins, or treating someone with some yummy homemade chocolate bites, the Freeze & Bake Poddie’s have me covered.
After school, I’m often faced with every mother’s worst nightmare: hangry children. These Freeze and Bale Poddies keep things fun and interesting, as I can experiment with all sorts of different treats to delight and fight off that 3pm dip in energy! Fruit gummies, frozen yoghurt gems, mini cupcakes, savoury muffins or quiches – the list goes on.
These non-toxic silicone trays, featuring either 9 snack-sized pods or 25 mini snack-sized pods, can tackle both hot and cold delights for the entire family. With its stain-resistant and sturdy yet flexible design it’s super easy to transfer your creations from kitchen bench to freezer or oven without spilling any of the goodness. Poddies have snack time covered!
Happy creating, cooking and eating
