With the opening of our second beautiful Cherrie Baby store at Reef Plaza in Cannonvale, we’re looking for friendly and motivated Junior Casual Retail Assistants to join our team. This role is perfect for students looking for after-school and weekend work in a supportive environment.
As a Junior Casual Retail Assistant, you’ll be part of a fun, fast-paced team,
learning the ropes of boutique retail. You’ll help welcome customers, share
product knowledge, and assist in creating memorable shopping experiences for
families, all while gaining valuable skills and hands-on experience in a
supportive environment.
About the Position
- Maintaining high store presentation and cleanliness standards
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service, assisting parents, grandparents, and other customers with product recommendations
- Assist with merchandising and maintaining an attractive store layout
- Restocking shelves and working with the inventory team to keep the floor full
- Processing sales through Shopify POS (training provided)
- Capturing customer details at checkout for loyalty and marketing
- Helping with online order pick-ups and in-store enquiries
About You
- No experience required – just a great attitude
- Someone reliable, friendly, and willing to learn
- Availability for alternating weekends, after school and possible school holidays
- Must be flexible to work in our Proserpine store if needed
- Interest in children’s products, kids’ fashion, and customer service

About the Position
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service, assisting parents, grandparents, and other customers with product recommendations

- Retail or customer service experience is preferred
- A positive attitude, great communication skills and a genuine love for helping people
- Availability to work a flexible casual roster, including weekdays, school hours and alternating weekends (approximately one in three)
- Must be flexible to work in our Proserpine store if required
- Someone who thrives in a busy environment and is well presented

With the opening of our second beautiful Cherrie Baby store at Reef Plaza in Cannonvale, we’re looking for a Content & Social Media Coordinator (Casual) to join our team. You’ll lead
the creation and posting of engaging content, work with our Digital Marketing
Calendar, and help grow our online presence, all while learning and developing
your skills in a fun, boutique environment. This role is perfect for someone
who’s self-driven but thrives as part of a supportive team.
Being part of the team as a Social Media
Co-ordinator, you’ll help deliver the warm, personalised boutique experience
Cherrie Baby is known for, across all our social media channels.
About the Position
- Create, schedule, and optimise organic social content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest
- Use relevant apps to produce quality content that relates to our audience, in our Cherrie Baby tone and personality, being fun, warm, genuine, helpful and family-minded.
- Confidently speak to camera and appear in social media posts and stories as one of the faces of Cherrie Baby.
- Follow and implement the digital marketing calendar, creating and publishing content that aligns with brand campaigns and key launches.
- Reply to messages and interact with our customers on all channels
About You
- Good understanding of organic social trends and how to adapt them to the Cherrie Baby audience
- Excellent photography, filming and editing skills, using relevant apps
- Great eye for aesthetics, detail, and storytelling.
- Confident filming with an iPhone and comfortable appearing on camera.
- Strong caption writing skills
- Experience in a similar role will be highly regarded
- Must be flexible to work in our Proserpine store if required
