About Cherrie Baby Boutique
A family-owned Australian baby boutique specialising in beautiful baby gifts, children’s clothing, toys and keepsakes.
In 2012, when I bought Cherrie Baby, I was a mum to five young children, aged 5 to 14, and life on our farming property (growing sugar cane and running cattle) was full and fast-paced. Alongside it all, I was running a small online store selling kids’ clothing, quietly holding onto a dream of one day having a storefront of my own. That year, when my youngest was starting kindy, I learned that Cherrie Baby’s doors were closing. What felt like an ending at the time became a turning point I couldn’t ignore, and the beginning of something I never could have fully imagined
We were a team of three back then and stocked about 20 brands. While I loved chatting to customers in-store, my real passion was driving the online side of the business. I wanted everyone to be able to access all of the quality products that we love for their children, regardless of where they live in the world.
Over the years we have welcomed well over 100 brands to Cherrie Baby and have made many more wonderful friends in the process. These include much-loved Australian and international brands like Jellycat, Huxbaby, Snuggle Hunny,Jamie Kay, Wilson & Frenchy, Goldie & Ace , Connetix, BIBS Dummies and countless more.
As our community continues to grow, so do we. Today, I’m also a proud grandmother to three, and that beautiful next chapter of family life has only deepened my love for what I do, supporting families through their own early years. It was exciting to recently open our second store in the heart of the Whitsundays at Reef Plaza, alongside our Proserpine location, allowing us to better support the region's growing families. With two locations, we are proud to make shopping with Cherrie Baby even more accessible while continuing to create the welcoming, personalised experience our customers know and love. Alongside our in-store experience, our online store makes shopping easy for busy families, with online ordering and convenient pick-up available from both our Proserpine and Reef Plaza locations.
Our incredible Cherrie Baby team make it a joy for me to go into work every day. They share my values and together we are dedicated to giving our customers the ultimate shopping experience. We have built a loyal community of customers that have grown with us and we love nothing more than connecting with them in-store or via our other social channels.
