Currently we are looking for two superstars to join the Cherrie Baby team.

Cherrie Baby is one of the leading retailers of fashion and accessories for babies and children in Australia, stocking over 90 brands in our store in Proserpine and very busy online store. We are a dynamic and fun team of 13 people and the environment is fast-paced, as we strive to give our customers the ultimate shopping experience.

We currently have a position available for a Marketing Assistant, with the following job responsibilities:

• Create eye-catching and professional emails, using Adobe Creative Cloud and Klaviyo
• Work with other staff to manage brand and marketing initiatives.
• Develop and execute marketing campaigns.
• Create reports on marketing performance.
• Maintain schedules for marketing initiatives.
• Create social media and website content, including Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns.
• Create and order marketing materials.
• Create and edit website graphics, using Shopify

This position is 25-30 hours per week, based in our Proserpine store, and there is some flexibility around rostering. The successful applicant will have the following qualifications/skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Extensive knowledge and proficiency using social media, particularly Facebook and Instagram
• Strong graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop)
• Proficiency with Klaviyo and creating email marketing campaigns
• Knowledge of Shopify preferred but not essential
• High level of organization and attention to detail
• Comfort with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment
• Understanding of basic business and marketing concepts and the ability to keep up with industry trends
• Excellent time management skills
• Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and social abilities
• Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-3 years experience in marketing or equivalent education
• Demonstrated experience with social media platforms (Facebook and Instagram)
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)

We currently have a position available for a Junior in our online retail team, with the following job responsibilities:

• Picking and packing of online orders
• General office and warehouse duties
• Keeping our store and warehouse clean and tidy
• Assisting other staff as required

The successful applicant will be a team-player, organised, hard-working and energetic and must be punctual, reliable and keen to learn. This position would suit a school leaver.
